How We Celebrated Eid at Workplace

We usually celebrate all festivals at our office, and the celebration of Eid was no different.
Whether it’s Christmas celebration, Diwali, or Holi,we usually get cute packets of sweets and
snacks along with a little card with a heartfelt message from the company. I absolutely love this
tradition. So, let me share with you, how we celebrated Eid this time.
This year, the lunch was supposed to be special. After all, it was
Biryani with a cold drink! Okay, I got a small bummer because of my own misconception, but
that’s a different story though. Since the Eid celebration was yesterday, I thought the treat was
yesterday too.

Thankfully, I brought some backup lunch with me, so it got sorted after all.
Now, coming to the mouth-watering aroma of Biryani, as soon as I saw the packets of Biryani
coming for us, I just couldn’t resist myself anymore. Each one of us was handed a big packet by
our dearest HR team, with the utmost warmth possible. But the next question was, will there be
enough seats in the cafeteria today?

Grabbing The Seat !

I could see the employees moving one by one toward the cafeteria, and the seats being taken
away. I couldn’t wait anymore, not another moment! So, I immediately went on, took my lunch
break, and grabbed a perfect seat for myself in the cafeteria. It probably took me only 10
minutes, and I was done with the whole meal.

Everyone was having the special treat at the cafeteria. Of course, the vegetarians were given
veg meals as a treat. Overall, it was really fun to see everyone enjoying the amazing treat.

In fact, it is the most beautiful thing to see that all the employees coming from different religious
backgrounds—celebrate all the Indian festivals with equal enthusiasm, without any kind of
discrimination. I can say for sure, it is something that only a very few organizations do—no
matter which part of the world they belong from.

The Spirit of Eid at the Workplace

How We Celebrated Eid at Globe Centrix, wasn’t just about the food, but also the joy of coming
together as a team, regardless of our differences. It’s one of the things that makes our
workplace truly special, and I can’t wait for the next celebration!
